Refund & Cancellation Policy

Important: Please read this policy thoroughly before enrolling. By paying the program fee, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Policy

Data Engineer Academy invests significant resources in preparing course materials, scheduling live sessions, onboarding mentors, and securing platform licenses. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both students and our institution, while ensuring the viability of our program.

2. Enrollment Fee

A non-refundable enrollment/registration fee may be charged at the time of initial sign-up to secure your seat in the upcoming batch. This fee covers administrative processing, batch preparation, and resource allocation and is not refundable under any circumstances.

3. Refund Eligibility Window

Refund requests are evaluated based on when the request is made relative to the batch start date and attendance:

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

  1. Send an email to dataengineeracademy73@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Full Name]".
  2. Include your registered phone number, batch details, and reason for the refund request.
  3. Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  4. If approved, refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Enrollment/registration fees
  • Study materials or digital resources already downloaded or accessed
  • One-on-one mentoring sessions already conducted
  • Fees paid for sessions already attended
  • Processing fees charged by payment gateways

6. Batch Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend the enrolled batch due to unforeseen circumstances, you may request a one-time free transfer to a future batch, subject to availability. This request must be made at least 3 days before the batch start date. Batch transfers do not entitle the student to a refund.

7. Program Cancellation by Academy

In the rare event that Data Engineer Academy cancels a scheduled batch (due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or force majeure events), enrolled students will be offered:

  • A full refund of all fees paid, processed within 7 business days; or
  • Priority enrollment in the next available batch at no additional charge.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied, you may escalate your concern in writing to our management team at dataengineeracademy73@gmail.com. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and transparently within 10 business days.

9. Changes to This Policy

Data Engineer Academy reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The policy in effect at the time of your enrollment fee payment governs your enrollment.
